Seamen’s Hospital – Cebu beefs up its medical staff with the addition of Wardell N. Mayol as the new Junior Consultant for Internal Medicine and the promotion of Shelbay G. Blanco as the Chief Resident of the Medical Department.
Dr. Mayol graduated from Velez College with a degree in Medical Technology and obtained his medical degree from the Cebu Doctors’ University Hospital. He is also a Diplomate of the Philippine College of Physicians.
Dr. Blanco finished his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and his Doctor of Medicine degree at the Cebu Doctors’ College, now the Cebu Doctors’ University. He had his post graduate internship at the University of the Philippines – Philippine General Hospital.
The new additions are in line with the objective of Seamen’s Hospital to continually improve its service offerings especially in the light of its growing membership in the Visayas area.
