In line with its aim of providing better healthcare to AMOSUP members in the Davao and Mindanao areas, the Gig Oca Robles Seamen’s Hospital – Davao recently announced new additions to its team of experts.
Two new junior consultants, Drs. Colleen Manguiob Ongkingco and Geraldine Jaca-Corporal, joined the Anesthesiology Department, while a nurse, Jaswant Villanueva Estrera, was promoted from Staff Nurse to Nurse Supervisor.
Dr. Ongkingco is a graduate of BS in Medical Technology from San Pedro College with cum laude honors. On the other hand, Dr. Corporal graduated from Ateneo de Davao University with a B.S. in Biology. Both took up Medicine at the Davao Medical School Foundation Hospital. Prior to joining Seamen’s Hospital – Davao, Drs. Ongkingco and Corporal were the Chief Resident and Medical Officer III, respectively, of the Southern Philippines Medical Center.

Jaswant Estrera served as Staff Nurse in the ER Department from March 2009. He is now a Nurse Supervisor of the Nursing Service Office, attending to directing, planning, organizing and coordinating requirements of the ER, OPD and Ward.
